A more in-depth look at our shipping and logistics plan.
We are actively and continually looking for the most reliable and cost-effective way to get all the rewards to our backers worldwide. Our business already operates with 3PL warehouses in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, and Singapore, from which we can send out all the rewards.
We have since found a new warehouse in China with excellent rates for the US and Australia using a service via Ocean Freight combined with local delivery.
Additionally, we are entering discussions with some of our global distributors to import and then ship the goods locally. We are notably going to offer “EU-friendly shipping” this way so that it will be VAT-inclusive. The prices listed on the campaign page are for shipping only and are currently VAT exclusive. Shipping to pick-up points in Europe is likely also possible.
We are also discussing offering this service in South Africa, Israel, and the Middle East if we can get better rates and service this way.
We don’t have distributors in South America or Africa, where shipping is expensive and import duties can be high.
The estimated shipping rates in the table on the campaign page are the rates we have negotiated to date and continue to improve.

Does it work with this or that milk alternative?
Most likely, if you buy a barista edition.
We haven’t tested every brand, so we can’t speak for all, but the NanoFoamer PRO is super versatile and can adapt to almost any milk type, so long as it is designed to foam.
Home-made oat milk is blended oats, water, and maybe a sweetener. That will never turn into microfoam because there is nothing in it to hold the bubble together in a foamy structure. That is why brands add fats, oils, and other ingredients to help with the foaming process. The NanoFoamer PRO has five different aeration levels in the programs, and then you can use the black, red, or without the flow controller to adjust further how it foams up. That is a total of 15 options combined with your milk level in the jug, so there is bound to be one that works just to your liking with your preferred plant-based milk.

Care & Cleaning
The NanoFoamer PRO is an electrical appliance using a kettle connector by Strix, the world leader in kettle controls. These connectors are not waterproof, so care must be taken when cleaning.
However, the NanoFomer PRO has a non-stick internal coating, making it easy to wipe down with a cloth or sponge, while the other components can be rinsed under running water.
Do not submerge the NanoFoamer PRO or put any components in the dishwasher.

Info about the non-stick coating
We have decided to use a premium Swiss silicone-based non-stick coating instead of the previously suggested Teflon-based coating.
Several backers have expressed concern about PTFE (Teflon). While today’s PTFE non-stick coatings don’t contain PFOAS as some have suggested, we have decided to partner with a Swiss company called ILAG and use their “ILAFLON Select SP 500 with Swiss Shield” coating, which is a safe Silicone Polyester coating without any of the elements of concern in the material (No PTFE, PFOA, PFOS, BPA, etc.).
This silicone polyester-based non-stick material should alleviate backers’ concerns about the previously mentioned PTFE-based coating.
Why are we using a non-stick coating? The NanoFoamer PRO is not waterproof because the electrical kettle base has water drainage below. Therefore the NanoFoamer PRO must be effortless to clean without any risk of accidentally submerging it in water. A wipe-down with a damp cloth or a quick wash with a soapy sponge should be all you need.
We all know milk cooks quickly, even at relatively low temperatures, and cooked milk sticks to stainless steel. As a result, if the jug were pure stainless and a user did not clean it well between uses, the milk would likely cook further and harden on the bottom, making it difficult to remove. The NanoFoamer PRO must therefore have a safe and easy non-stick surface.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
